Ted Sanft has spent most of his career building operational teams and creating cost-effective and nimble technology solutions.
As Chief Technology Officer at Empyrean Benefit Solutions, Ted is responsible for the design and development of all application platforms, as well as the technical infrastructure and cyber security.

Formerly,as SVP of Operations and Technology for Fleet One, LLC, a commercial credit card company based in Nashville, he grew the business organically for eleven years, resulting in the sale of the business to WEX, Inc. in October 2012. This business grew from 80 employees to 250, and from an unprofitable company to an enterprise valued at $369 million. During his 11 years at Fleet One, LLC, he was an integral part of the management team which purchased the company from SunTrust with the aid of two private equity firms, then sold it four years later to a public company, WEX Inc.
From 2006-2011 he also served as CTO for change:healthcare, LLC (now Change Healthcare, Inc.) For 5 years, Ted was involved in all aspects of startups including: concept, technical design, deployment, and branding.
His previous experience includes Alliance Data Systems, where he served as Vice President of Network and Payment Systems. At Alliance, Ted planned, managed and maintained the switching capacity to support over 2.5 billion transactions per year. His customers there included Citgo, Phillips, Conoco, Shell, Marathon, Clark and Speedway Super America.
Prior to this, Ted was EVP of Information Technology for Harmonic Systems, Inc. (purchased by Alliance in 1998). There, he built and supported a real-time, client-server transaction network that spanned from Ireland to Hawaii, for customers including Barnes and Noble, Ultramar Diamond Shamrock, and GAP Inc.
